  We visited in 2011 or 2012, can't remember exactly when, but the bottom line is that this place is great! As soon as we got there we felt completely welcome and the owners talked to us for quite some time. The horses were very nice, gentle but at the same time spirited enough to have some fun. I really like that they rescue horses and use them in their operation - what a great cause! I'm not a real fan of desert scenery but the ride was just beautiful! Jogging up the little Arizona buttes was a real treat. Dave was our guide, he is super funny and a darn nice guy. What I love is that they don't treat you like every other tourist idiot that comes through. If you have riding talent or experience, they can see that and you will get a good appropriate ride. If it's your first time, they will also see that and give you an appropriate ride for your experience level. I highly recommend this place and if you are a more advanced rider, you will completely enjoy loping the desert washes! The only complaint I have is that the prices are higher than what I normally am willing to pay for a ride, but on the flip side hay is more expensive in the desert so it is somewhat understandable.
